What is Marygrove?
Marygrove is a Catholic Retreat Center, owned and operated by the Diocese of Marquette. It is the mission of Marygrove to offer a quiet place to stand away from the distractions of our busy lives. It is a place to rest, pray and gain a clear perspective. Above all, Marygrove is a place to deepen your awareness of God's presence and action in your life. A retreat at Marygrove, can be enjoyed with others, or designed for your own individual needs. Whether for a day, a weekend, or a week, a retreat at Marygrove can be a time of deep renewal in faith.
What's appealing about Marygrove?
The grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is nestled in the whispering pines and fragrant cedars, preciously describes the reason for our name: "Mary's Grove." On the grounds there are many shrines, wooded paths, and a quiet labyrinth garden. The shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, towering against the majestic cedars, offers peace and security to all retreatants.
Marygrove Retreat Center fosters spiritual enrichment rooted in the Catholic Tradition, formed by the Gospels, and nourished by the Sacraments. Our ministry is dedicated to creating a rich variety of retreat experiences in which men and women of all faiths are encouraged to discover and respond generously to God's personal invitation to wholeness and holiness.
We look forward to providing you a place of rest and renewal. Thank you for visiting the Marygrove web site.
